Our founders are both military leaders and successful entrepreneurs.

Taner Eren

Partner

Taner brings over a decade of experience in operational excellence and corporate strategy. A Cleveland native, he served for seven years as a Surface Warfare Officer. After transitioning from military service in 2016, Taner attended Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, focusing on entrepreneurship. He has held strategy and leadership positions at a Fortune 500 company and is a serial entrepreneur, having led several businesses as both a founder and acquirer. Taner lives in Ohio City on the west side of Cleveland with his wife and son.

Zach Steiger

Partner

Zach is a seasoned operations executive with extensive experience in private equity and military leadership. A Cleveland native, he served for twelve years as a U.S. Navy SEAL Officer, with five deployments. He is an experienced private equity operator, having held leadership positions at both the fund and portfolio level. Zach lives in Kirtland, Ohio with his wife.

Dan Barnett

Investor/Advisor

Dan is a highly experienced business leader and entrepreneur, having founded and invested in multiple successful companies across several industries, including professional services, retail and hospitality, and real estate.

Investment Criteria

We are actively seeking established businesses with owners who care about what happens next.
Size: $500K-$5M in EBITDA
Geography: US-based/Midwest-preferred
Industry: Open to all industries, but we tend to avoid acquisitions in retail, software/tech, or highly technical fields.
Bonus points for companies that are veteran-owned, or Ohio-based!
